It's a CHALLENGE!
(It's a RUMBLE!)
(ok. no, it's not. It's a challenge. To learn about it, join me over the jump.)

Ok, that's displaying in preview, so I'm going on. Well, rats. It didn't like it when I tried to submit, so I've replaced the cool widgety thing with an image of it. ANYWAY....
Nike is offering "Nike+", which is made up of a sensor (transmitter) and receiver. The receiver can either be in a sports band (band and transmitter cost around $60, I think... um, I didn't buy one, but the Nike Plus site says $59. Or the receiver can be attached to your iPod Nano (any generation of Nano) - the sensor and receiver are $29 (you must supply the Nano.)
You're supposed to put the sensor in the sole of your Nike+ shoe - but a lot of us have "shoe pouches" and have the sensor attached to the shoe via shoelaces.
The sensor counts your steps, calculates your mileage, minutes worked, miles per hour, and calories burned, and sends that to your transmitter, which gets attached to your computer & syncs with Nike+.
The website creates cool graphs, keeps a running total, lets you set goals & resolutions and participate Challenges - like the Republicans vs Democrats one I've embedded the information from, above.
So - if you have a Nike+, join me (starbunny) in this challenge! And if you have one but haven't taken it from the box - TAKE IT FROM THE BOX and join me (starbunny) in this challenge!
And - if you've been thinking about exercising, and have a Nano, think about getting the Sports kit and joining me (starbunny) in this challenge!
If we get a lot of Kossacks participating, maybe we can create our own challenge!
