PENN got axed by Colombian Gov.

Sat Apr 05, 2008 at 12:16:38 PM PDT

During the Ohio primary Barack was painted by Hillary and her team as being two face on NAFTA.  Saying one thing to the voters while he was "wink wink" to the Canadians.   Barack denied it, but it may have cost him Ohio.  Rumor has it that it was someone from the Hillary team who was doing the "winking" any way, the fact is during this campaign "TRADES" has become a hot button issue for both candidates and one would think both campaigns would have learned from the NAFTA fiasco.
Hillary also said, "If some of my advisers had been having private meetings with foreign governments and basically saying ignore what I'm saying because it's only political rhetoric ... I think it raises serious questions."
See last two para.

McCain is having a hard time with his conservative base.  To win the "GE" he needs to run to the center but before he can do this he must consolidate and motive the base of the Republican Party.

Looking at these numbers for the latest Rasmussen Poll shows that Barack is at his base against McCain.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows John McCain’s lead growing against both potential Democratic opponents. McCain currently leads Barack Obama 49% to 42% and Hillary Clinton 51% to 41% margin
