A Democratic Party decision, for Hillary, Barack and all those in between

Mon May 19, 2008 at 08:24:17 AM PDT

We have a decision to make as a party. Are we going to worry about the people who say they will refuse to vote for Senator Obama when he is the Nominee, or are we going to move forward.

That's the very real question we are facing here. Watch this video and listen to these people and their reasons on why they would not vote for Senator Obama in the Fall.

These are supposedly 'good Democrats', most of them have Hillary buttons on and have never voted for a Republican.

FLASHFORWARD-FLASHBACK

August 25, 2008: Denver Colorado

After a long battle between Senator Clinton and Senator Obama, D-Day is here at the Democratic National Convention. 160 Super Delegates still have not declared, but with Senator Obama only needing 35 of those undeclared it’s expected that  he will receive the Democratic Presidential Nomination tonight.

Senator Clinton’s campaign have been working towards obtaining all of the remaining Supers for months now. With six months of attacking Senator Obama relentlessly, polls show that John McCain would beat either candidate in the general election.

Senator Clinton has asked to be able to make a final plea, which has been allowed. But instead she unexpectedly asks for a roll call vote.

After hours of declarations, Senator Clinton has gained the nomination. Prompting a massive walkout of hundreds of loyal Obama supporters. Clinton announces Senator Bayh  as her VP candidate.

Major Policy moment for Obama. Turn the speech into action

Tue Mar 18, 2008 at 12:32:46 PM PDT

As I listened to Senator Obama give his speech, I identified with most of what he was saying and thought he gave one of the most important speeches in modern American History.

As I flipped from channel to channel and looked at the blogs to see the reactions from other people, I began to think. What should be the next step?

Well, in order for this to end, Senator Obama needs to turn that speech into policy. He needs to sieze this opportunity now and turn this all around to his, and all of our, advantage.

The Audacity of Focus: HOPE

Sat Mar 15, 2008 at 10:48:47 AM PDT

Audacity of Focus: HOPE

Ever since an accident I had that left me disabled, I’ve wanted to learn a new trade. One that would allow me to work either from my home or an office. I used to be a construction worker in the skilled trades industry, and that line of work is forever gone from my abilities. Since I can now walk with the help of a cane, I thought it time to try to learn a new trade.

So, someone told me about a training facility named Focus: HOPE. I’ve always loved computers, and they taught many aspects of the I.T. industry there. So I went there for a personal interview. There was a problem, the facility did not accept psychically disabled  people. There was a certain criteria that had to be met in order to qualify for job placement.

NEWSFLASH: Richardson endorses Obama....Almost

Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 02:30:52 PM PDT

Today, Governor Bill Richardson almost endorsed Senator Obama.

I say almost, because it wasn't an official endorsement. But it might as well have been.

This is a former Presidential candidate that knows the Clintons almost as well as anyone else.

Senator Levin says Michigan voters don't count

Sat Mar 08, 2008 at 07:34:58 AM PDT

I live in Michigan and am deeply concerned by the announcement Senator Carl Levin just released.

He seems to think that the current situation is just fine. And he seems more concerned about future considerations than about letting the voices of Michigan voters be heard.

His statement and my response after the jump....

NEWSFLASH: It's official, Hillary only cares about Hillary

Fri Mar 07, 2008 at 02:35:45 PM PDT

It's official, Hillary only cares about Hillary. In case anyone doubted that fact, she has proven it over and over the last couple weeks.

She has a 'scorched Earth' campaign policy now. And it has two missions.

Mission 1: Destroy Obama. Make it seem impossible for him to win the general election. Forcing the super delegates to overturn the pledged delegate winner(there is no way for her to catch Obama). There is no barrier to how low her and her campaign will go.

Mission 2: If she cannot subvert the process and destroy Obama enough to get the super delegates to overturn his pledged delegate lead. Then make sure that McCain beats Obama in November. That way she can run again in 2012.

Swift Boat of Barack Obama: Freedoms Enemy?

Sat Feb 23, 2008 at 10:54:39 AM PDT

I am a passionate Obama supporter, and I just saw a website made by someone named Parker Shannon, project manager for Toyota Motor Corp an enterprise data architect for Comcast Cellular Communications.

The website is called Freedom's Enemies, and has a section devoted to smears and lies directed at Senator Obama. The page has Osama Bin Laden's pisture right above Obama's.

Win or lose, with class and unity

Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 03:35:20 PM PDT

That's what I want most the next couple days. I know it's asking a lot, with all the venom being pumped out by various supporters of differnt candidates.

But we have to think about a few things before we go gonzo, get depressed, or flaunt victories in the faces of other Democrats.

A few very important things must be considered.

Senator Obama is our only hope: With new poll

Thu Jan 17, 2008 at 08:16:34 AM PDT

Senator Obama is the Democrats, and America's, only hope.

He is the only Democrat that can beat John McCain. I like Senator Edwards too, but he doesn't match up against McCain as well as Senator Obama does.

And Senator Clinton gets beat by Senator McCain by a healthy margin. The independent voters who would support Senator Obama, and to a lesser degree Senator Edwards, flock to McCain if matched up against Hillary Clinton.

Senator Obama should thank Hillary Clinton

Tue Jan 15, 2008 at 08:56:51 AM PDT

Senator Obama(and his supporters) should thank Hillary Clinton and her surrogates.

That's right. I've changed my mind. I think this will actually help Senator Obama in the long run.

Or at least we will know if Senator Obama's message of hope and change, and a new kind of politics will work.

Help the Effin Clintons, Markos!

Sun Jan 13, 2008 at 05:34:11 PM PDT

Help the Effin Clintons, Markos!

And I don't mean help them win, I mean help Hillary's campaign regain, and retain, the Democratic principals that passionate Democrats need for her to have if they want us to vote for her.

When this race started there were a lot of Democrats that were so proud to have such fine candidates running for President, many of us didn't really care(that much) who won the primaries and were already gearing up for November.

Black V. White, Obama V. Clinton

Sat Jan 12, 2008 at 08:07:16 AM PDT

Is this what we really want? And I am talking to ALL sides. Well, is it?

Some may be saying no, but really meaning yes. Some may be saying yes, and will wish they meant no. The very fabric of the Democratic Party will be torn asunder is the answer is yes. We will be undone by own hands, while the neo-cons and Republicans sit back and laugh.

Neither Hillary nor Bill Clinton are racists. Period.
