As you must have heard by now, George Allen is a total racist. It's pretty evident from the video, and the blogosphere has really gotten this story out in the open. But, lo and behold, as you can see over at NLS-the story breaker, the WaPo has changed their story, probably just in time for the print edition. Now, George Allen is "sorry."
In a poll released Friday, May 12th 2006, the Washington Post trumpeted the coming of a new generation of heroes. These new patriots are bound together, all 182 million of them, by a glorious revelation that freedom is not free. These, the "Patrick Henry's" of our generation, have realized that the price of freedom is, ironically,...freedom.

These days, the criminalities and depravities are flying at us so quickly, and with such a concentration, it is easy to miss things. This is my 2nd diary, and I am compelled to write it becasue what I heard in the House today is frightening.

So, I'm going to go ahead and make this short and sweet: I will be in Wakefild, VA tomorrow for the tried and true Virginia tradition known as SHAD PLANKING. Throughout the day, I will hang signs, drink beer, hob nob with politicians, drink beer, point at lobbyists and giggle, drink beer, talk politics, drink beer, cheer and boo, drink beer, and eat some fish. Some bony fish roasted on planks of wood. It looks like it is going to be a pretty good time.
